We have a wood shaped molding piece vintage salvage item.  It measures about 14" across x about 4 3/4" when a tape measure is wrapped around the center.  On either end there is a small piece of the broken off dowel which sticks out 1/8" - 1/4" on both sides.  It is a darker brown stain finish. - it does need a detail dusting in the grooves.  The finish is in fairly good condition with minimal wear showing.
