We have a vintage Evans metal cigarette case (marked Evans on the spring loaded bar to hold the cigarettes in place).  It measures about 3 1/4" square x just over 3/4" in height.  It has a push bar to open and 2 bars on the inside, 1 on either side, to hold the cigarettes in place.  There is a scratch on the back of the case which is about 1" in length, other than that it is in very nice condition.
