We have a Small Brush wire bristles Vintage item.  The handle is wood with the bristles being  metal, somewhere in between as far as stiffness.  It measures about 6 1/4" in L x about 3/8" across the wood end - The bristles are about 1 1/4 of the measurement.  It shows some light signs of wear/use.
