We have a Maraca Instrument wood Mexico Vintage item.  It is completely made of wood.  Mexico is printed above the painted on figures.  The finish on the piece is a bit rough with a good amount of wear showing on the paint as shown in my photo's.  The bottom round where it attaches to the handle has a crack on the lower round, it is still secure.  It measures about 7 5/8" in L with the handle being about 4 1/8" of that measurement.  I would say this is in fair conditioin.
