We have a brass door plate vintage item.  It measures about 5 1/2" in H x 2" in W with the center round which surrounds the door knob being about 1/2" in D.  It appears that someone has cleaned and shined this piece.  It is in very nice condition.  There is a tad bit of uneveness of the shine/color around the outside on close inspection, not sure if this would come off with a polish.
