We have 2 Brass Salvage Pieces, Vintage Items.  They almost match but one of the ends is slightly different.  They measure about 2 7/8" & 2 3/4" in L with the openings on both ends measuring about 1/4" across.  The one with the different wider opening on 1 end actually swivels all of the way around on the top from the first ribbed line.  There is some evidence of wear with tarnish and a few small dents on them.
