I believe this is part of a bracelet / watch band at one point. If you look closely the end piece on one of the 3 is fractured off and the other end piece on the other 3 pieces looks as though it supported a pin at some point. Each rectangle piece measures about 5/8" x 7/8" with exception of the smaller ones on the ends which measure about 5/8" x 3/8" (these measurements are without the hinges considered or the end connection piece). They do show minimal wear.
On the bottom is:
I believe this is part or a whole bracelet in pieces. I would estimate that it dates somewhere between the 1960's - 1970's or so. There are 3 pieces which are still attached with the pinch clasp - this measures about 3 3/8" x 1". There are 5 pieces which are detached which each measure about 3/4" x 7/8". There is some finish wear on the metal that the finish is off where the piece was previously connected in the back - please see photos. I was taking a closer look at this and how it went together and was able to snap a 4th piece into place easily - I would imagine the metal should be pried closed a bit to avoid it coming undone. It looks like the rest "may" be able to be repaired in the same manner.....please do not hold me to this though - I am selling this as is. When I placed the pieced as they would be if they were together it measured about 7 1/4" in length give or take a small amount.
